Narcolepsy is a sleep disorder with the main manifestations of excessive daytime sleepiness, cataplexy, sleep paralysis, sleep hallucinations, and nighttime sleep disturbance. It is the most common disease that causes daytime sleepiness other than obstructive sleep apnea (OSA).
